We are an independent primary school located in central Västerås with approximately 860 students in grades 4-9. We are a profile school with focuses on dance and choir, which gives our students the opportunity to combine their academic studies with culture. Now we need you, a qualified teacher in social studies subjects

As a social studies teacher with us, you will teach in one or all of the social studies subjects: geography, history, religion, and civics. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in accordance with the curriculum and actively contributing to the school's systematic quality work.

You will be part of a work team and collaborate within subject teams, where you, together with colleagues, develop the teaching and the school's pedagogical work. Our profiles are also an important part of the school's activities, and you will be involved in them in various ways during projects, concerts, and performances. The role also includes mentorship for a class together with a colleague. In addition, you are expected to support and motivate students in their learning and personal development, so they have the best conditions to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher with qualifications to teach social studies subjects for grades 7-9.
• It is an advantage if you are qualified in all social studies subjects.

Employment conditions

The position is a permanent employment at 100% starting August 2025 or by agreement.
