Teacher of Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language – Internationella Engelska Skolan Västerås

Do you want to work in an international environment with a clear educational policy and teach students in Swedish and Swedish as a second language (SVA)?

Internationella Engelska Skolan Västerås is looking for a dedicated teacher of Swedish and SVA to join our team. The position involves teaching Swedish and Swedish as a second language to students of various ages and backgrounds, contributing to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Teach Swedish and Swedish as a second language (SVA)
• Be responsible for teaching and shared mentorship for a class of approximately 32 students
• Mentorship and support for the academic and personal development of 16 students
• Provide continuous feedback to students and guardians about their development
• Actively contribute to maintaining the school's values and vision
• Collaborate with the student health team and special educators to include students with special needs

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Swedish teaching license
• Has experience teaching Swedish and Swedish as a second language (SVA)
• Has a passion for language learning and motivates students to achieve their goals
• Has the ability to create an inclusive learning environment for students
• Has a positive attitude and a flexible, creative approach to work
• Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative school environment
