Welcome to Fryxellska School!

We are an independent primary school located in central Västerås with approximately 860 students in grades 4-9. We are a profile school with focuses on dance and choir, which allows our students to combine their academic studies with culture. We believe that the interplay between culture and education is a contributing factor to success and well-being in school. Now we need you, a teacher in textile crafts

You will teach grades 4-9 and be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching, as well as integrating modern technologies and sustainable materials into the lessons. Additionally, you will be a mentor in one of our classes together with a colleague and actively work to create a safe and inspiring learning environment. In your teaching, you will focus on the students' development. You want to see the students grow and develop as individuals and always work to provide them with the best conditions to absorb knowledge.

Qualifications

A degree certificate and teaching license are required.

Employment conditions

The position is a permanent employment at 100% starting August 2025 or by agreement. A probationary period applies.
