Tunaholm School is looking for a German teacher for grades 6-9

Tunaholm School is a multicultural 7-9 school centrally located in Mariestad. Approximately 340 students study at the school, and the staff works in four different teams around the students. By supporting, stimulating, and challenging students in their daily work, we develop confidence in their own abilities. It is important to us that everyone feels a sense of belonging and enjoys their time at school. The school is important, and we learn for life.

For the autumn term, we are looking for a German teacher for grades 6-9.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in German for grades 6-9 at Tunaholm School in Mariestad.

In this role, you will shape the teaching from a holistic perspective where students are encouraged to want and dare to try methods and solutions, and develop confidence in their ability to use the German language in various contexts. You also recognize the importance of differentiating the teaching in terms of structure and lesson content based on the needs of the student group.

You will be part of a team consisting of 10 teachers and will also share mentorship for a class. In the teamwork surrounding the students' knowledge development, you will contribute together with colleagues to see holistic solutions in teaching based on both the group's and the individual's needs. From a social and pedagogical perspective, you place the student's development at the center and conduct and develop your work based on science and proven pedagogical experience both independently and collaboratively.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher with authorization in modern languages, specifically German for grades 6-9.

You are a good communicator and have the ability to build trust in relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. The position requires responsibility, good collaboration skills, flexibility, solution-focused thinking, and an interdisciplinary approach to teaching.

Furthermore, you have a clear and relational leadership characterized by structured teaching and an accessible learning environment.
