Description

The Culture and Technology Administration is seeking truck and machine operators.

Responsibilities

At the Culture and Technology Administration, we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of streets, roads, and public spaces throughout the municipality. As an employee in Culture and Technology, you will operate, among other things, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, trucks with interchangeable flatbeds, and occasionally with snow plowing equipment as well as trucks with interchangeable flatbeds and cranes. As the operator of our wheel loader, you will handle mowing and clearing bushes along road edges for most of the summer.

On-call duty for snow and ice control is included in the position during the winter season from week 43 to week 17. Overtime on evenings and weekends will occur.

Qualifications

• Approved high school education
• Driver's license B, C (CE is an advantage)
• Forklift and wheel loader certificates (B1, C2)
• YKB
• Digital tachograph card
• Work on Road 1.1, 1.2, 1.3
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have experience or training in any of the following; operating backhoe loaders, snow removal with trucks, road graders, mowing with wheel loaders.

We value that you are self-driven, have a personal drive to get things done, and possess good collaboration skills and social competence. You should also have basic computer skills and not be unfamiliar with using various digital systems. Attach your CV and cover letter with your application. Reference checks may be conducted.
