Your future challenge

For BAE Systems Hägglunds AB, it is important that our properties and facilities maintain a high standard. As a Property Engineer, you will be responsible for operations, maintenance, inspections, requirements specification, technical support, review, etc. for new construction and renovations. You will lead feasibility studies, design, and projects within Construction and be responsible for permitting, Hot Work, and Work Permits SWP (Safe Work Permit). You will act as Hägglunds' construction manager (maintaining contact and coordination with the construction contractor's management) in larger construction projects. You will have daily contact with consultants and contractors as well as with internal support functions (IM&T, Security, SHE, Maintenance, etc.). The role also includes control/testing of fire alarms, sprinklers, and gas extinguishing systems (Facility Manager) and administrative tasks such as calculations, financial follow-up, and invoice management.

You will report to the Head of Facilities and Maintenance.

Who you are

We believe you have a degree in civil engineering or another relevant construction education. To be successful in this role, you need to be a team player and have a desire to develop. It is an advantage if you hold BAS-P/BAS-U competence, have experience in larger construction projects, and have worked with the property side within the industry. We also prefer that you have experience in systematic fire protection work. For this position, you are required to be computer literate and have good knowledge of Swedish and English. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

A B driver's license is a requirement.
