Uniper offers great opportunities for long-term development, and as a new employee, you will receive a mentor to help you settle into your role.

Hello!

We are Uniper, an international energy company driving the transition to fossil-free electricity production. We are proud to have been named Sweden's most attractive employer for two consecutive years in the Key Figures Institute's survey. Our success is built on a workplace where people with different perspectives, mindsets, skills, and experiences come together. We believe in a workplace where every individual can contribute something valuable. Where everyone feels equally appreciated and respected, whether they work at our production facilities, in the office, or from home. In our work for a sustainable future, a strong and integrated safety culture is fundamental, reflecting our corporate culture and commitment in everything we do. This is how we evolve as a company and create a future together. We call it the Uniper Way, our corporate culture. We believe that the path to a sustainable future is through gradual development and change, by setting measurable goals that we achieve together. Do you also believe in a fossil-free future? Join us on our journey. The beating heart of Energy!

Your role with us

You will be part of the Project Management unit within the Project and Installation department, a valued unit that many seek support from. We strive to be an attractive partner contributing to a high professional standard where our common goal is to keep our facility in top shape. The unit is responsible for all facility changes at OKG, which are always carried out in project form. Your role is primarily administrative, but you are expected to be out in the field to get to know and understand the operations as well as to build your network. Travel, both nationally and internationally, may occur to our suppliers.

What will you work on?

As a project manager, you will lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams that develop technical solutions and implement these changes in the facilities. In addition to working on technical solutions, the project manager's focus is on planning, risk management, and monitoring time and finances to ensure that project goals are met.

We work according to a PMI model where we deliver against defined decision points, and you as the PM will conclude phases and projects with the necessary decision materials. You will work on facility changes, and the projects may involve replacing control, fire, and process systems where lead times are often long.

Your tasks will include:

• Leading project teams in the development of technical studies and reports, budgets, and timelines, as well as monitoring these.

• Reporting/presenting project status and monthly reporting to relevant stakeholders.

• Planning procurements with requests for quotes, contracts, and monitoring suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing unit.

• Invoice management.

• Project administration and documentation.

The team you will be part of consists of fifteen engaged and supportive colleagues, a mix of different personalities who enjoy discussing various topics together. We have a climate where we view setbacks as opportunities for learning for both the unit and us colleagues. You will report to the acting unit manager for IP (installation projects) and will have Magnus Nilsson as a present manager who balances results focus with supportive leadership.

Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure, and our operations are subject to regulations regarding security protection, export control, and nuclear non-proliferation. Therefore, we will conduct security assessments of all our services and supplement with background checks for security-classified positions, in accordance with the Security Protection Act. Uniper is part of critical societal operations in Sweden, which is why this position may be subject to military placement. A health check, including a drug test, may also be relevant before employment.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with experience in the field, preferably from larger organizations. You are comfortable leading project meetings and giving presentations and making necessary decisions, sometimes under tight deadlines, to drive the project forward. The role involves networking and relationship building, and the ability to get people to collaborate for a common result is crucial to being successful in the role. We also appreciate your ability to motivate and lead others.

Requirements:

• University/college degree in fields such as economics/engineering/management or at least completed secondary education combined with several years of project management experience.

• Experience leading teams/project groups.

• Experience working with budgets and financial monitoring of projects.

• Good ability to work with Gantt charts, risk matrices, and status reports.

• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English (spoken and written).

• Driving license B.

Meritorious:

• Certifications in project management such as PMP, PMI, IPMA, and Lean.

OKG - a natural part of future energy solutions!

OKG is a nuclear power company within Uniper. The company's fossil-free electricity production contributes to electricity supply and also combats global warming. We are convinced that nuclear power is an indispensable technology to achieve overall climate goals and address climate challenges. Therefore, we support development in the field and also work on efficient and safe decommissioning of facilities that are no longer in operation, as a natural part of our responsibility.

We strive to reflect societal development, and we welcome your participation in broadening our diversity. We believe that differences create opportunities. Take the chance to become one of us and join our exciting operations!
