About the Position

In the role of an employee with us, your main task will be the production of our products in Kalmar and the installation of concrete mattresses at customer sites. You will work to protect coastlines, dams, and lakes from erosion, as well as contribute to creating sustainable and effective solutions for marine and coastal environments.

Initially, your employment will be within our business area of Erosion Protection, where you will be involved in the entire process – from surveying to sewing and finally installing concrete mattresses. The work will also include tasks within the Water Treatment business area, for example, when we install control screens and screen basins. We also perform sediment removal from the bottoms of lakes and dams to improve water quality and preserve ecosystems.

The work is carried out in project form at our customers' locations, and some administration is included in the tasks. Our customers are located throughout Sweden, so a high degree of travel with overnight stays is part of the job.

We are looking for someone with a technical interest who wants to contribute to a better and more sustainable water environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Production of concrete mattresses, silt curtains, etc. in the production facility - Kalmar
• Surveying of concrete mattresses and silt curtains
• Assembly and injection of concrete mattresses
• Some project reporting
• Minor repairs and maintenance of machinery
• Support the development of processes and routines to enhance Tecomatic's operations

Personal Qualities

We prefer that you are a practical person who enjoys being out on projects. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the role, and it is advantageous if you also have a BE license or higher. Experience in contracting work or familiarity with marine environments is a plus. You should be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have a basic understanding of English. More specifically, we are looking for someone who wants a practical and free outdoor job and who:

• Flexible – Since the job may require you to travel and work in different locations throughout Sweden, it is important that you are flexible and willing to adapt to varying working conditions and project needs.
• Communicative – Most of the time, you will collaborate with colleagues and customers, both on-site and via digital channels. Being able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, is crucial.
• Detail-oriented – In the work with concrete mattresses and various water treatment systems, it is important that you pay attention to details to ensure the sustainability and functionality of the solutions we deliver.
