Woolpower has a strong focus on sustainability and longevity both before, during, and after a garment is produced. The clothes should be timeless, functional, and maintain a very high quality in an effort to counteract wear and tear. The choice to keep all production locally in Östersund creates fewer links in the production chain to control. When you wear our clothes, you can therefore be sure that they have been made with responsibility for the nature around us and the work environment for those who work for Woolpower.

As a seamstress at Woolpower, you will sew both base layers and reinforcement garments in stretchy materials made from a loosely knitted mix of merino wool and synthetic fibers. Our seamstresses check and approve all the clothes they sew, marking the garments with their name as a quality seal. Since we make base layers and socks all the way from yarn to finished garments, it requires that the seamstresses can handle several different machines.

We would like to see experience and interest in some type of sewing in the past. Furthermore, you thrive in a productive environment with a high pace.

Previous experience and education in relevant areas of sewing/industrial manufacturing is advantageous.

You should be able to speak and understand Swedish in both speech and writing.

We are looking for several seamstresses, and selection will take place on an ongoing basis.

- Sewing test will be conducted

- Fixed-term employment applies

- Working hours are afternoon (15:30-24:00)
