Hesselberg Maskin AB, in collaboration with Randstad, is looking for dedicated and driven service technicians to join our team in Aitik. This is a permanent position directly with Hesselberg Maskin AB, where you will have the opportunity to develop in an innovative and dynamic work environment.

Hesselberg Maskin continues its fantastic journey and now needs to expand its strength in Aitik and Gällivare with around 10 service technicians. Hesselberg has a need for a wide range of competencies such as: electrical/electronics, welding, hydraulics, good knowledge of diesel engines, good computer skills, or simply that you are a really skilled mechanic. A prerequisite, regardless of where your expertise lies, is that you have experience and an interest in working on vehicles - preferably heavy vehicles.

We are looking for both junior and more senior service technicians to join our team, where everyone will contribute with their specific expertise. There is also the opportunity for skills development through Hesselberg's internal training packages to meet any individual skill needs. The work is scheduled for daytime in a 7/7 shift.

Responsibilities

The position includes many varied tasks, such as:

·      Replacing components on machines

·      Troubleshooting

·      Regular service - oil changes, taking oil samples, etc.

·      Repairing diesel engines

·      A fair amount of vehicle electrical work

·      You will be working with computerized units, so some computer skills are needed, but you can learn what you need

·      Everything from small sensor adjustments to large components that need to be calibrated

·      For those interested and with good computer skills - Tier One service (which involves some night shifts)

We work with large trucks!

Qualifications

Requirements:

·      A few years of relevant experience in mechanics

·      Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

·      Good English language skills, both spoken and written

Preferred:

·      Any type of education related to mechanics, heavy machinery, etc.

·      Knowledge of welding

·      Knowledge of diesel engines

·      Knowledge of hydraulics

·      Knowledge of electrical/electronics

·      Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems

·      Knowledge of automation/IT/networking

 Since the position is very broad, you can come from many different backgrounds, but just a few examples of suitable previous experiences could be: truck mechanic, electrician, welder, working with tuning car engines, mechanic on drilling rigs, service technician, etc.
