About the Position

As a Mechanic at Renta in Boden, you will be a central part of the team ensuring that our machines are always in top condition. The role involves being responsible for performing service, repairs, and maintenance on rental machines both in the workshop and out in the field.

We are currently in the midst of one of Europe's most exciting and innovative projects – the development of the large steel project in northern Sweden. This means that as a mechanic with us, you will have a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where we contribute to the transition towards a more sustainable future.

Our customers build all sorts of things with our machines. Sometimes they come back intact, sometimes not. What they always need, however, is a little care and love. With us, you will receive the machines in the workshop or go out to the machine where it is located, assess its condition, and perform repairs and service with a focus on quality and precision.

In your role as a mechanic, your main tasks will include:

Performing service, repairs, and maintenance on our rental machines.
Assessing the condition of the machines and identifying any necessary actions.
Documenting completed work in our administrative systems.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure that the depot operates smoothly.
Contributing to a good working environment where we help and support each other.

The position as a Mechanic is a direct recruitment to Renta with a start date according to agreement. The location is Boden.

About You

We are looking for someone with a technical interest and a background as a mechanic. You thrive in an environment where you can take your own initiatives and solve problems, while also being a team player who supports your colleagues.

Furthermore, we see that you:

Have experience in repairing and maintaining machines, preferably within construction and civil engineering.
Are technically skilled in mechanics and electronics and have basic computer skills.
Are flexible, meticulous, and responsible.
Have a positive attitude and enjoy working closely with both customers and colleagues.

It is important for the position that you are willing to deliver high quality in your work and contribute to a strong team spirit.
