Falck Fire Services has extensive experience in providing fire services at airports and nuclear power plants. We are now making an investment in heavier industries, refineries, mines, and other operations that currently have their own fire services. Fire services are one of Falck's core activities, and today we operate fire services at a handful of nuclear power plants in Europe. Globally, Falck conducts fire service missions within industrial operations in Denmark, the UK, Spain, France, and the Netherlands.
In Sweden, Falck has been entrusted with providing fire services within industrial operations for more than 10 years. At Ringhals, approximately 1200 people work with nuclear power generation. Falck Fire Services has 22 permanent employees responsible for fire protection through preventive and corrective work. Falck also provides fire services at Forsmark.
As a firefighter at Falck Fire Services, your focus will be on preventive work to prevent accidents from occurring.
Your tasks primarily consist of:
- systematic fire protection work (SBA)
- training in areas such as CPR, flammable hot work, fall protection, etc.
- developing internal exercises for the fire brigade in collaboration with exercise management
- fire service assignments, i.e., technical replacements of fire systems
- responsibility for order and tidiness at the fire station and training site
We are looking for someone who:
- is a trained firefighter through completed Rescue Operations, GRIB I & II, SMO training, or equivalent older training
- has a C driver's license.
- is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and expresses themselves well in English.
- is trained as a Rescue Leader A or Supervisory A (meritorious)

Other
This is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Full-time position, start date by agreement.
Placement is at Ringhals in one of our four shift teams. The majority of shifts are outside normal public transport hours, which means it is a significant advantage if you have access to a car.
In parallel with this application, we are also looking for substitutes for the summer.
The recruitment process includes:
- A drug test for employment and a check against the criminal record is a requirement for work at nuclear power plants, as Falck's guidelines state that you must be drug-free and without a criminal record.
- Workplace relevant employment tests regarding physical ability according to AFS 2019:3, with a requirement for a passing result as a smoke/chemical diver.
