Are you our new colleague? Billerud Wood Supply is strengthening the team and looking for a timber buyer in southern Dalarna.

We have extensive experience in sustainable forestry. Our forestry department is responsible for supplying our Swedish industries with pulpwood, chips, and fuel. We conduct field purchasing operations in Central Sweden and Norrbotten where we buy timber from private forest owners.

As a Timber Buyer at Billerud, you will be a key player in securing our raw material supply by building long-term relationships with private forest owners. Your primary task is to establish long-term and good business relationships and manage existing relationships with forest owners to purchase timber in the form of harvesting rights and delivery timber.

The role of timber buyer is multifaceted and broad, where you will come into contact with all parts of the value chain. You are the forest owner's contact in everything related to forest ownership such as forestry advice, contract signing, planning, harvesting, and forest management in the form of site preparation, planting, and thinning, as well as forest management plans. A success factor is that you have a solid team with high competence in the forestry industry to support and help each other for the best possible solutions for our customers.

With your forestry knowledge, acquired through years of experience and/or education, you will be a key player in securing our raw material supply. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in proactive sales.

You will drive and plan your work independently with the freedom to plan your days and travels within the purchasing district while being part of a team. You value collaboration and share our vision of sustainability and safety.

Qualifications

· Experience working in forestry and/or education in the field

· Understanding of the business

· Interest in forestry and nature

· B driver's license

· Good computer skills

· Communicates fluently in Swedish both verbally and in writing

Preferred

· Previous experience in proactive sales
