We are looking for dedicated teaching assistants

We are looking for dedicated teaching assistants who want to be part of our team and contribute to a safe and supportive school environment. As a teaching assistant, you will assist teachers in instruction and perform various tasks, but you will not be responsible for the actual teaching.

Responsibilities

• Support students during lessons by helping with tasks and creating a conducive learning environment.
• Assist the teacher by explaining instructions and guiding students in their learning.
• Support students in need of extra help, both individually and in groups, to facilitate their knowledge development.
• Help prepare and organize teaching materials and adapt materials as needed.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment by encouraging and motivating students.

You will work closely with teachers and the student health team to create a positive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience working with children and youth, for example in schools, leisure activities, or other educational settings.
• Good collaboration skills and a pedagogical approach.
• Ability to create safety and structure in the school day.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Education in pedagogy or experience working with students in need of support.
• Experience working in schools.

Desirable:

• Good knowledge of children's reading and writing development.
• You are confident in your professional role and have a positive attitude.
• Good ability to create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Flexibility and responsiveness.

For the position, presenting an extract from the police criminal record is a requirement for employment.
