In preschool and school in Berg Municipality, well-educated and engaged staff work to provide the municipality's children and youth with the best conditions for lifelong learning. We are now looking for a new colleague for our team for grades F-3 at Svenstavik School!

Job Responsibilities

In the role of teacher at Svenstavik School, you will work together with other staff at the school to reach and strengthen each individual student in their knowledge development. Your task is to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching from preschool to grade 3. Together with your colleagues, you will work for all students' development, learning, and influence in teaching. Here, we work with dual teachers in all grades in the lower school, F-3. This means that you share responsibility for planning, implementation, and assessment with the colleague you share the class with. The dual-teacher model is part of the early support measures to give students increased opportunities to reach their goals.

Our students should have fun, feel safe, and be able to develop according to their own conditions. Respect, responsibility, joy, community, and the equal value of all are guiding principles in our operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher or has another educational qualification deemed equivalent. We expect you to be well acquainted with the national governing documents for primary school operations. You need to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We consider it an advantage if you have experience in the profession and in systematic development and quality work.

You have previous experience working in primary school, clear leadership, good knowledge of formative teaching, and can adapt your teaching to students with different support needs. Berg Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we therefore see it as an advantage if you have knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture.
