Special Education Teacher at Park School

Park School is a municipal school covering grades 4-9 and after-school activities for grades 4-6. A total of over 350 students attend the school. The school is conveniently located within walking distance from Östersund's city center and borders a park-like area. Job Responsibilities

As a special education teacher, your responsibilities include:

• Investigating, organizing, and documenting measures for students in need of special support, in collaboration with relevant staff, students, and guardians
• Guiding and supporting staff in developing teaching, extra adaptations, and special support
• Working with students, both individually and in groups, as well as in our study yard

As a special education teacher, you will actively participate in the school's systematic quality work and development of operations – for the best of our students!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed special education teacher with a focus on mathematics and have experience teaching grades 4-9, as well as being familiar with the school's mission and operations.

We are looking for you! You are flexible, calm, and secure in your professional role with the ability to make priorities with the student's best interests in focus. It is of great importance that you can create good, secure relationships, set boundaries, and work independently. At the same time, the position places high demands on collaboration skills, as it involves close cooperation with students, colleagues, and guardians.
