Parkskolan is a municipal school that includes grades 4-9 and after-school activities for grades 4-6. There are over 350 students enrolled at the school. The school is conveniently located within walking distance of Östersund's city center and borders a park-like area. At Parkskolan, we work daily to develop our operations, including through our collegial learning and relational leadership. We are now looking for a teacher for instruction and a strong desire to make a difference in the students' daily lives. In this role, you will teach mathematics, science subjects, and technology for grades 7-9. You will also share the mentorship of a class. The position offers you a broad and varied assignment with many interesting challenges.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license according to Chapter 2, Section 16 of the Education Act and is qualified in mathematics and science/technology for grades 7-9, as well as having pedagogical insight, meaning being familiar with the school's mission and operations.

It is of great importance that you can create good, secure relationships, set boundaries, and work independently. At the same time, the position places high demands on collaboration skills, as it involves close cooperation with students, colleagues, and guardians.

You are flexible, calm, and secure in your professional role with the ability to prioritize with the student's best interest in focus. In recruitment, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
