Do you want to help build KMV's new maintenance department?

We are now looking for a maintenance technician with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance in a production environment.

We are one of the market's broadest and strongest suppliers in deep hole drilling. In addition to drilling, we also offer turning, milling, honing, and straightening. Over the years, we have refined, improved, and enhanced our methods and machinery to be able to produce and process more complex details and components today. We have both piece production and series production.

The position

You will have the opportunity to help build the structure around KMV's maintenance work. Examples of tasks:

· Ensure the availability and functionality of machines according to health, environment, safety, and quality standards.

· Plan, organize, execute, and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance.

· Ensure that recurring mechanical problems are analyzed, addressed, and prevented from occurring again.

· Participate in the commissioning and updating of the company's machinery.

· Ensure that relevant manuals and instructions are available and that documentation, drawings, and maintenance systems are continuously updated.

· Identify critical spare parts and maintain spare parts inventory.

You will also work on safety and production-related improvements of the equipment and machinery in the business. In your role, you are expected to independently perform machining for manufacturing and repair of certain production equipment and some spare parts.

You will be offered training on our various machine types with a focus on maintenance. You will report to the production manager.

Is this you?

We are looking for someone with a technical high school education, preferably in electrical/automation or mechanical engineering, and with several years of work experience in maintenance within manufacturing or process industry.

To succeed and thrive in the role of maintenance technician, we see that you have good analytical skills, a high sense of service, and a good sense of order. You are a person with a structured working method, who reaches root causes and implements relevant countermeasures.

To prioritize and handle the various types of challenges that arise in our daily work, you also need to be a calm and stable person who maintains composure and works systematically and methodically even under pressure.

All our documentation is in Swedish, so good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

You have a genuine interest in technology and take great responsibility for your own development by being curious and wanting to learn new things. The position requires a B driver's license and a forklift license (B1).
