Kungsör is a calm and safe municipality with nearly 8,700 inhabitants. Kungsör is characterized by a royal history and a uniquely beautiful nature. Central Kungsör is situated on a high point, with buildings extending down towards Lake Mälaren. In the countryside, there is another locality, Valskog. The municipality is constantly growing and changing; we plan, develop, and improve new and existing areas.
Kungsör is located in the heart of Western Mälardalen, with the E20 highway passing just outside the locality and trains on the Svealandsbanan stopping centrally. You can quickly travel to neighboring municipalities; it takes about 15 minutes to Arboga, Köping, and Eskilstuna, while Västerås and Örebro are within 45 minutes, and Stockholm can be reached in an hour by express train.

Kungsörs Fastighet AB (KFAB) is Kungsör Municipality's public housing company. We own and manage approximately 850 apartments and several commercial premises. We are now looking for a property caretaker to join Kungsörs Fastighets AB, working in a team with positive and competent colleagues who, with service and knowledge, create a good living environment for our tenants.
Job Responsibilities
Working as a property caretaker means focusing on service and putting the customer at the center while managing our properties. It is a free and varied job where you can plan much of your work yourself and quickly need to adapt based on the operational needs. The role includes daily operations, rounds, and repairs of the properties in the portfolio. You are responsible for ensuring that heating and water function satisfactorily and for making checks and readings regarding them. You are responsible for ensuring that laundry rooms and other spaces in the property are in good and tidy condition. The work will mainly involve various types of simpler repairs in the property's apartments, such as drainage, windows, refrigerators/freezers, and electrical work. We use the Momentum PM property management software.
Qualifications
For this position, we are looking for someone with a high school diploma and a B driver's license. We prefer candidates with education in property technology, construction, or similar fields, and who have previously worked as a property caretaker or held other practical roles.
As a person, you are social and have an easy time building relationships. You can meet people in various situations and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You are handy, service-minded, and structured. You have problem-solving skills, good initiative, and are stress-resistant. You need to have basic IT skills and good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. As an employee, you always strive to improve and put the customer at the center.
