Operations Technician for Heating Facilities in Västerås

Your Role

As an operations technician, you will be involved in the operation and maintenance of heating facilities for combined heat and power, and cooling production. The work is divided into three shifts.

Your main responsibilities

  • Monitor the status of facilities in operation, troubleshoot, rectify faults, and report errors
  • Commission, start, and stop facilities during shutdown and maintenance

We are looking for you

For this position, a technician education with a focus on power and heat or a technical education as an operations technician in energy/heat/maintenance is advantageous. If you have work experience from the energy sector and knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of production facilities, we consider it a strong merit. Experience with the ABB 800XA control system or certification as a boiler operator is also advantageous.

To thrive in the role of operations technician, you need to enjoy learning new things and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks. You are flexible, have an easy time collaborating with others as well as working independently. You enjoy varied tasks where you can work on problem-solving.

A valid driver's license (B) and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, are also required.
