Your role as an information security consultant

In this role, you will work to identify and concretize the client's needs and requirements within the security area and transform these into specific measures that create secure environments and processes according to current standards and regulations. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to handle information security from a business perspective.

As an information security consultant, you will work closely with our clients to plan and drive their information and cybersecurity efforts, conduct information classification and risk analyses using established methods, and propose security-enhancing measures. Since the area is constantly evolving, it is a natural part of the assignment that you stay continuously updated on the latest trends in digitization and relevant regulations concerning information security.

Our team currently consists of 20 dedicated experts working in an inclusive and supportive culture that values diversity. We are part of a larger results unit with a total of 60 employees, where collaboration and innovation are in focus. Our team is spread across five locations in Sweden, giving us a unique opportunity to benefit from different perspectives and experiences.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent competence in information security and/or computer engineering. You have several years of experience working with information security and have an understanding of various areas such as training, auditing, architecture, and risk management.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have worked with and possess very good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: information classification, including methods and implementation within the information security field. Experience with regulatory analyses against laws and regulations governing information security, as well as knowledge of frameworks such as ISO27000, NIST, and GDPR, is considered important for the position. Experience in conducting risk analyses using various methods within the information security field is also valuable, and knowledge of the Privacy Act and Security Protection Act is a merit.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security check with a background investigation.
