Do you have a background and/or education in radiophysics or a related field and want to work with radiation protection and radiological safety? We are looking for a junior engineer who wants to start their career in an exciting and socially critical industry.

About the role

In this role, you will work on issues related to radiation protection and radiological safety, focusing on the handling of radioactive materials. You will be part of an experienced team where you will receive guidance and support to develop in your role and will, among other things:

• Analyze and measure radioactive waste
• Develop and ensure quality of methods for measuring radioactive substances
• Participate in technical investigations and safety assessments
• Support projects related to decommissioning and demolition of nuclear facilities

About you

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who enjoys solving problems. You have an analytical approach and an interest in working with technical challenges in the energy sector. Since the role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, it is important that you are communicative and comfortable discussing technical solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in radiophysics, medical physics, or a related field
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Experience in radiophysics or related fields
• Experience from the nuclear industry through, for example, thesis work or internships
