We are looking for a driven and experienced Site Manager for our road maintenance area in Tingsryd. Your role:

As a Site Manager, you assist the Site Manager, plan, lead, and distribute work. You are responsible for various projects, which include quality assurance, work environment, customer contact, financial follow-up, planning of personnel and machinery, invoicing, and participation in budget work. Your role in the group also involves meeting customers and clients, preparing quotes, and making proposals, which means you need to have an interest in finance, business, and customer relations.

The role of Site Manager in our group involves a lot of freedom under responsibility.

You will be part of our team in Tingsryd that works with the operation and maintenance of roads. The work focuses on operation, maintenance, and construction of smaller projects, which means working and leading both your own and hired personnel / subcontractors.

Examples of tasks that the group performs include:

• Winter road maintenance
• Sand removal
• Road inspection
• Traffic damage
• Paving work
• Green area maintenance
• Drainage work, wells, and culverts
• Sign work
• Guardrail work
• Maintenance of rest areas

Qualifications:

• Have a relevant technical education and experience in a similar role as a site manager within the industry.
• Have experience in construction work as well as operation and maintenance of roads and winter road maintenance.
• Are socially competent and have an easy time collaborating.
• Inspire trust and have a professional demeanor.
• Have good communication skills and a clear, present, and motivating leadership style.
• Have good IT skills and are accustomed to working with administrative tasks.
• Hold a valid B driver's license.

Since the daily work involves a lot of contact with various stakeholders, you are social and have an easy time collaborating. You create a professional impression and find it easy to build trust. You have good communication skills, and your leadership is clear, present, and inspiring.

The position includes on-call duty.

Workplace located in Tingsryd.
