Security guards work with the surveillance of critical societal facilities, where the demand for security is maximum. As a security guard, one can either have undergone a shortened security guard training with a basic guard training or have completed a longer basic training as a security guard.

- A security guard approval from the county administrative board is also required.

We have high demands on our security guards regarding personal qualities, experience of working in a public environment, and legal knowledge.

Start date: 1/7-2025 or by agreement

Job responsibilities: Among other things, staffing entrance receptions, ensuring that no unauthorized persons have access to the protected objects. With some patrolling. More information will be provided during the interview.

Qualifications: We are looking for someone who has personal maturity and feels secure in the role of a security guard. Personal qualities are what determine the most suitable candidate. You should possess a high level of security awareness and social competence. We place great importance on your ability to work in a team, but we also expect you to independently identify and solve problems. To work on certain objects, a security assessment, in-depth control, and a security interview will be conducted.

Requirements for applicants:

• at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
• high school diploma
• good Swedish in speech and writing
• driver's license B

You also need to be unpunished*, drug-free, have an orderly economy, and good health and fitness to be employed by Avarn Security.

Preferred qualifications:

• civil security guard training (or military security guard training**, completed from 2016 or later)
• guard training (VU1 + VU2)
• weapon training

** If you have completed security guard training during military basic training, it is also valid for civilian use. If you have a security guard training through the armed forces without military basic training, you need to complete a shortened security guard training to work as a civilian security guard.
