Do you want to have a say in your working hours? At Kiwa, we work with freedom under responsibility, and you plan your days based on what suits you and our customers! As an inspection engineer, you will be out with various clients daily to inspect and control pressurized equipment. In the morning, you might check a pressure vessel in a school cafeteria, and in the afternoon, you tackle boilers at a combined heat and power plant. You thrive in a social role with many points of contact while having a great interest in technology.

About the role

We need to strengthen our team in Växjö and Kalmar. We are looking for you who are a trained engineer and/or have good experience in the process industry. In the role of inspection engineer, you perform technical inspections of pressurized equipment. We work with a wide variety of objects, from pressure vessels in a school cafeteria to boilers, pipelines, and compressed air tanks at a combined heat and power plant. In addition to technical inspections, we assist our clients with reviews and documentation in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations, such as related risk assessments, lifespan journals, ongoing supervision programs, etc. We see that you enjoy taking responsibility as you often plan your workweeks yourself to fit both you and our customers.

Are you not a trained engineer but have the right experience otherwise?

Don’t worry, we will train you!

Your placement will be in Växjö or Kalmar, and your clients will be throughout Kronoberg and Kalmar counties. The position involves daily travel, including overnight stays.

Who we are looking for

· Technical high school education, YH-engineer or similar

· Experience from the process industry

· Balance between theoretical and practical knowledge

· Interest in technology and people

· Ability to create good customer relationships and easily collaborate with colleagues

· B driver's license

· Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you have experience in the inspection industry or have worked with pressurized equipment before.

To succeed as an inspection engineer, you are attentive, curious, driven, and meticulous. We believe that with interest and foundational knowledge, one can go far; therefore, we place great importance on your personality!
