Electricity prices in Sweden vary significantly throughout the day today. Prices are very low during the night and early morning hours, but rise significantly during the day and peak in the evening.
Hourly Electricity Prices
From midnight until 05:00, electricity prices range between 1 and 3 öre per kWh. At 06:00, prices start to rise and reach 6 öre per kWh. The largest price increase occurs between 07:00 and 08:00 when prices peak at 42 öre per kWh.
Prices remain high until 10:00 when they slightly drop to 16 öre per kWh. During the afternoon, prices remain stable between 5 and 7 öre per kWh, but rise sharply again at 18:00, reaching their peak at 68 öre per kWh by 20:00.
After 22:00, prices drop drastically and even become negative, meaning you get paid to use electricity. Between 23:00 and midnight, the electricity price is -0.92 öre per kWh.

Tomorrow, electricity prices seem to follow a similar trend, but with even lower prices during the night and morning. From midnight until 04:00, prices are negative, meaning it's either free or you get paid to use electricity.
Prices rise to 1.84 öre per kWh at 05:00 and reach 38 öre per kWh at 06:00. Throughout the day, prices range between 2 and 4 öre per kWh, with a peak at 47 öre per kWh at 19:00.
