Välfärd Gävle is embarking on an exciting and important journey of development. New legal requirements, national reforms, and changing needs among the people we serve place high demands on quality, collaboration, and knowledge-based approaches. We are now looking for a Quality Coordinator who wants to drive the development of the Adult Services area.

In this role, you will have a key position where you contribute to creating the conditions for a business characterized by quality, legal certainty, and continuous development. Together with managers and employees, you will work to ensure that our interventions have the best possible effect for the individuals who need our support.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Coordinator, you play a central role in coordinating, driving, and developing quality and improvement work within the Adult Services area.

You work closely with the Business Manager and Unit Managers, providing qualified support in matters related to quality management, business development, follow-up, and the implementation of new working methods. The role involves both strategic and operational work to ensure that the business develops in line with legislation and the organization's goals.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Process Development: Based on assignments, drive the work of developing the business's working processes with the goal of creating a cohesive, efficient, and effective support chain for clients.
• Support in Implementing Reforms: Support the implementation of national reforms (such as the new Social Services Act, the co-morbidity reform, and activity requirements) and translate these into practical, local working methods.
• Business Development: Lead development assignments within the business area.
• Quality Development: Build and implement a structured approach for self-control and follow-up. The focus is on creating a learning work climate where deviations and results serve as a basis for business development.
• Method Support: Implement, consolidate, and develop the business's working methods to ensure that the execution creates effect for the client.
• Collaboration: Participate in strengthening collaboration between authority units, as well as between these and providers, to create a cohesive support for adult clients and reduce silo thinking. This also includes collaboration with other parties within the municipality and externally.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a strong interest in quality development and who are motivated by creating structure, development, and improvements that make a real difference for both the business and clients.

We are looking for you who have:

• Relevant academic education or equivalent competence acquired through education and/or work experience.
• Several years of experience in qualified work within social services or other public sector operations.
• Experience in quality work, business development, or improvement work.
• Experience in coordinating, leading, or driving development and change work.
• Good ability to analyze business, results, and processes.
• Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Good digital competence.

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Experience from the adult area within social services.
• Experience in implementing legislation, reforms, or major change projects.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and knowledge-driven management.
• Experience in process mapping and process development.
• Experience in collaboration between municipalities, regions, and other authorities.

To succeed in the role, you are:

• Structured: Working methodically with planning, follow-up, and implementation.
