About EnRival Utbildning AB Education is a critical factor for anyone seeking employment. Regardless of one's skills, employers almost always require some form of formal education. EnRival Utbildning offers services that bridge the gap between social exclusion and employability. The path leads through career guidance and education, resulting in a strong position on the labor market.
We are looking for an engaged and skilled teacher of Swedish or Swedish as a Second Language (SVA) who wants to teach adults in Swedish.
EnRival runs small, staff-intensive school units with a focus on quality, engagement, and collaboration. The main focus is adult education within healthcare and social care, but we also offer education in trade and service, as well as Vocational Higher Education (YH) in logistics and service.
Your Role
As a teacher of Swedish/SVA, you are responsible for teaching, assessment, and grading in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language (SVE1 or SVA1). This takes place in parallel with the education's main focus on subject knowledge in healthcare and social care.
The role includes planning and conducting place-based teaching. You assess student performance according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans for Adult Education for Immigrants (Komvux) and assign grades in accordance with your teaching license.
You work closely and collaborate with healthcare teachers, pedagogues, school counselors (SYV), and other staff. Some students will require a language-supportive approach in their education, and this is where your expertise becomes particularly important.
We want you to build a language-developing learning environment that benefits all our students. Create dynamics, spark interest, describe and explain – everything that makes the subject of Swedish enjoyable.
Teaching takes place on-site in Jönköping, on a full-time or part-time basis as agreed.
Your Competence and Background
Required qualifications:
- Teaching license with a specialization in Swedish or Swedish as a Second Language
- Good knowledge of the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans for Komvux
Meritorious qualifications:
- Experience in adult education
- Experience with language-developing teaching methods within vocational training (vocational Swedish)
Documentation
The work involves documentation for the client and the student. Good digital competence is required – we use several digital tools, and teaching materials are available both digitally on It’sLearning and in print.
Your Personality
We are looking for someone who:
- is passionate about language, pedagogy, and human development – you make learning fun, regardless of the subject.
- has a positive, solution-oriented, and clear working style
- enjoys collaborating and contributing to a good atmosphere in the work team
You thrive both with independent responsibility (focus on Swedish) and in close work with other professional roles.
Employment Terms
- Full-time or part-time
- Permanent or as agreed
- Probationary employment applies unless you convince us otherwise
- Start date as agreed
Application
Please submit your CV and cover letter via our e-recruitment system. Note that teaching license and focus on Swedish are mandatory requirements. Attach your license to the application.
We process applications on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
