Your new job

You will teach English in combination with another subject. Your role also includes mentorship for students in grade 8. You will be part of both a teaching team and a subject department, working together to create the conditions for successful learning in a safe environment with good relationships.

We have 442 students distributed across grades 7 to 9. The school is beautifully located on a hill above Norrahammar, with an adjacent sports and swimming hall and access to football fields. Flahultsskolan is built on the principle of a home base for each grade level, accompanied by a dedicated teaching team.

Our school aims to be a leader in preventive values-based work, collaborating closely between educators and teachers in after-school centers, special needs teachers, and the student health team. Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained teacher with a teaching license, or alternatively, a candidate who has not yet received their teaching license or is at the end of their education, and who has qualifications in English combined with another subject for grades 7–9. You are flexible, engaged, and have a strong interest in educating and developing young people based on their individual conditions. You are interested in knowledge and digitalization methods to develop your teaching. You are confident in your leadership and serve as a good role model. As a person, you collaborate easily but also take initiative and make independent decisions in your work situation. Experience in teaching and working with students is considered an advantage.

In addition, you are well-grounded in the mission and regulatory documents of the compulsory school system and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You also have basic IT skills. Personal suitability is given great importance.
