Your new job

We are looking for a new colleague to join the team for grades 4–6. Your main responsibilities will include planning and delivering teaching, as well as documenting and following up on students' development. Together with wonderful students and helpful colleagues, you will have a varied and exciting job! At Tabergsskolan, safety work is an important part of our preventive and promoting efforts, and all staff share responsibility for this. We also prioritize collaboration between professions and language-enhancing work.

Welcome to us

Tabergsskolan is located south of Jönköping, surrounded by beautiful nature in the immediate vicinity. We are close to forests, water, meadows, and mountains. Approximately 250 students attend the school, and the staff consists of around 35 people. Tabergsskolan has a Nature and Culture profile, which means we utilize the local area in our teaching. We often say that Tabergsskolan is the small school with the big heart. Here, we help each other, grow, and have fun together!

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for grades 4–6, or alternatively a candidate who has not yet received their teaching license or is at the end of their studies. We are looking for you who are qualified to teach Swedish, Mathematics, English, and Social Studies (SO). We prefer that you have experience in teaching and working with students. You are well-grounded in the primary school's mission and its governing documents, have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and possess basic IT skills.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

According to the Education Act, all employees hired within our operations must present a valid extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, extended register checks were introduced for persons who are to work with children. This means you will need to submit an additional extract prior to employment. Before hiring new employees for our teaching positions, we must ensure that a valid teaching license exists. Therefore, we ask you to attach a current teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
