Öxnehaga School, with its fantastic view over Lake Vättern, is located high up in Huskvarna. Here, approximately 370 students meet – and a world of opportunities. Your new job

As a music teacher with us, you have a unique opportunity to truly impact the students' school time. You meet students from grades 1–6 and contribute to creating joy, context, and memories that follow them far beyond the classroom.

You are responsible for music education and actively work to develop students' musicality, creativity, and self-esteem. Here, there are good opportunities to start and develop a school band together with students, work within a living tradition of group singing and shared musical experiences, and collaborate with the municipal school of music to strengthen students' learning and interest in music.

The teaching is characterized by clear structure and high expectations combined with an inclusive and relationship-building approach, where working methods are based on collaboration, participation, and student activity. You work closely with your colleagues in a strong team and contribute to the school's joint development, where the subject of music is a natural and important part of the whole.

Your competence – you create engagement and community

We are looking for you who are a trained music teacher, or alternatively, who are at the end of your training.

A clear view of the student characterizes the work, where high expectations and a strong belief in each student's ability are a clear starting point. The work is conducted in a structured and goal-oriented manner with a focus on quality and development.

In the classroom, there is a safe and clear leadership that creates teaching characterized by both structure and joy, where the work is adapted based on students' different needs and prerequisites so that everyone is given the opportunity to participate and succeed. As a person, you are relationship-building, sensitive, and collaboration-oriented, with a desire to contribute to a living school culture where music has a place and where students develop together.
