We are looking for
We are looking for a registered nurse. It is an advantage if you have completed a course in Infectious Disease Care (15.60 credits), have knowledge of the systems Cosmic and Life Care, and have experience from infectious disease care and ward work.

What you will be working with
On the ward, you work as a nurse in a team with experienced nursing assistants and doctors, as well as other professional groups – with the patient in focus. In our work group, we have strong cohesion; we help each other and value development and job satisfaction highly.
As a nurse on the infectious disease ward, you are responsible for the care of patients with varying monitoring needs, together with your nursing assistants. Our patients have fluctuating care needs, which creates a varied work pace with sometimes rapid changes in patients' conditions. No two days are alike here. As a nurse, you are responsible for leading and distributing the work within the team, and together with your colleagues, you ensure a good working environment.
You will learn a great deal about both contagious and non-contagious infectious diseases. We care for patients with common illnesses such as pneumonia and urinary tract infections, but also patients with hepatitis, malaria, heart valve infections, and infections of the skeleton and brain. You will become an expert in transmission routes and care hygiene, and you will meet patients from all over the world.

Information about the position
The position is a fixed-term assignment (vicarious), 60% night shift, spanning the period from August 31, 2026, to June 6, 2027.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
