At Hässleholm Hospital, approximately 120 people work within the Rehabilitation business area, divided into five different work teams responsible for all rehabilitation within outpatient and inpatient care at the hospital. Our business area includes specialist clinics such as a pain rehabilitation clinic, a memory clinic, and a rehabilitation clinic. We also have an inpatient ward for rehabilitation medicine.

About the role

In our orthopedic operations, we work both in inpatient and outpatient care. In inpatient care, we primarily focus on mobilizing, caring for, and monitoring patients after elective orthopedic procedures. We work with early mobilization of all patients and participate in various research projects. In outpatient care, we meet patients at different stages of their rehabilitation, including follow-up visits after joint replacements, referral assessments, and sports medicine issues. Together, we create a dynamic workplace with breadth, variety, and a strong patient focus.

Responsibilities

We are now welcoming a physiotherapist colleague to us at the VO Rehabilitation area within orthopedics. As a physiotherapist with us, you will primarily work with the examination, assessment, and follow-up of patients with orthopedic problems. The work in this position is varied and includes work on the orthopedic and day surgery wards, as well as clinic work mainly involving follow-up visits after orthopedic surgery.

The clinic work may involve working with independent responsibility for radiological investigations, for which you will be offered training as part of the position. Rehabilitation with group activities is also included in the work. Weekend duties occur to some extent on the orthopedic ward.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. We would like you to have experience of clinical work as well as experience of postoperative rehabilitation of joint replacements in the knee, hip, and shoulder, as well as after arthroscopic procedures in the knee and shoulder.

Joint assessment of patients is common, so we look for applicants who have an interest and experience in collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. It is meritorious if you have training in steps 1 and 2 in Sports Medicine or equivalent.
