We are strengthening our team and are now looking for you who want to help shape the future of construction projects in a leading industrial company. At Lindab, you will combine technology, business understanding, and customer focus in a role where you create smart, sustainable solutions for the construction industry. We are now looking for a Cost Estimator who wants to take a key role in our projects – from the first quote to the finished solution.
About Lindab
We are a leading player in the manufacturing and sales of system solutions and building components for the construction industry. For over 60 years, we have worked for simplified and sustainable construction. Our origins live on today as we supply the market with a broad spectrum of steel-manufactured products. Lindab Byggpartner is Sweden's leading project supplier of Swedish-made thin-gauge steel building products – primarily within load-bearing decking and sandwich panels. We are known for quality, reliability, and genuine engagement with our customers and their projects. We have production in Piteå and are represented with sales offices across the country – from Malmö in the south to Luleå in the north.
Your new job
As a Cost Estimator, you will work with quotes, costing, dimensioning, and project support. You will drive your projects in parallel in close collaboration with customers and project sales representatives. The tasks mainly consist of preparing offers where you dimension load-bearing thin-gauge steel products, such as profiled roof sheets and sandwich panels. Dimensioning takes place in our own internal calculation programs, for which you will receive training. You will be part of our construction partner group covering all of Sweden.
Your experience
- University degree in Construction Engineering or similar higher education, or alternatively a high school engineer qualification
- Work experience from the construction industry.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit and Excel (meritorious)
- You are organized and good at planning your work
- You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
Your personal qualities
To succeed in the role, it is important that you work and act in accordance with our core values: Customer Success, Down-to-Earth, Order and Integrity, and Engagement. With business acumen and sensitivity to the customer, you become a vital link in creating added value for both the customer and our results. You thrive working both independently and as part of a team, driving your own projects towards set deadlines. You are quality-conscious and work carefully and methodically, ensuring you find the best possible solution for our customers' needs!
