Prästängsskolan is the upper secondary school in central Eksjö, where the auditorium, along with the student cafeteria and school library, forms the entrance and focal point. The school environment has been built around the guiding principles of safety, permissiveness, encouragement, openness to development, and collaboration. Therefore, relational work is in focus. The fact that we all collaborate for the students' best interest is a characteristic feature of the work at the school. All students experience participation in their learning as they are taught formatively by professional teachers to achieve all goals in the curriculum. Parallel scheduling of subjects allows for flexibility in teaching, which is adapted to the students' different knowledge and experiences. To ensure that all students succeed, we work with collegial learning in work teams, subject teams, and at the school level. The school's student health team is a valuable resource at all levels. We see testing new approaches based on science and proven experience, and evaluating their effect on student learning, as an important success factor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for additional engaged teachers in Mathematics/Science (MA/NO) with curiosity and a desire to become even better together with others. You are a clear leader who builds trusting relationships. You will be part of the collaborative teaching team at the school. Based on the joint subject planning, you will design the teaching together with the students in your groups. The formative approach is something we collectively focus on developing at the school. In your role as a teacher in our special teaching groups, you will also have close collaboration with other professions at the school. We all work together to provide students with a safe and structured school experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree and teacher certification.

Experience in similar work is meritorious. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. We are looking for someone who cares about building relationships, enjoys collaborating, and has the ability to maintain structure in your work.
