Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced nurse or advanced practice nurse who wants to help develop our operations. With us, you will work in a stable and dedicated team where quality, continuity, and patient focus are central parts of daily work.

The role of a nurse/advanced practice nurse with us involves a broad and varied clinical daily routine, where you meet patients of different ages and life situations – from children to those at the end of life. You will handle standard nursing tasks such as telephone advice, digital contact via 1177 Direct, clinic work, disease prevention efforts, and specialist nurse clinics.

You will work both independently and in close collaboration with other professional categories. We value a structured approach and active improvement work, where you as an employee have the opportunity to influence and contribute to the development of the operation.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers and the health centers' emergency clinics in Västmanland are run as an intrapreneurship with their own board and Region Västmanland as the owner. The operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland, and together we work to offer accessible and high-quality primary care throughout the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the primary care of the future.

Närvården Viksäng-Irsta is one of these health centers, and the operation also has a branch clinic in Irsta. The health center is established in an area with good accessibility, close to both the center and transport connections. Adjacent to the health center, there is parking and good bus connections.

We are responsible for approximately 15,800 registered patients and offer doctor and advanced practice nurse clinics, maternal and child health care, as well as rehabilitation with a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, counseling clinic, and dietitian. Our work is based on the patient's needs with a focus on continuity, quality, and security.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• are a licensed nurse, preferably with further education as an advanced practice nurse
• have experience with the medical record system Cosmic and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• are secure and stable in your professional role, with good collaboration skills and a professional approach
• work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and contribute to a good work climate
• have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and meet patients and colleagues with respect and sensitivity.

The position is a permanent full-time position with start date as agreed.
