Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist with us, you work with the assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients in both inpatient and outpatient care. You meet patients at various stages of their care process and use your expertise to create the best possible conditions for recovery and independence.

The Rehabilitation Unit is jointly responsible for occupational therapy interventions across several clinics within the hospital, providing both variety and a broad competence base. You have a clear mandate within your area and work in close collaboration with both your occupational therapy colleagues and other professional categories in the team – together, you contribute to a continuously developing operation.

The role also includes supervising occupational therapy students and participating in development work that contributes to patient safety and modern care.

About the Workplace

The Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit consists of a group of occupational therapists and physiotherapists, along with a unit manager, who together are responsible for interventions on several clinics, including surgery, oncology, infectious diseases, women's health, operating rooms, urology, vascular surgery, and ENT.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed Occupational Therapist and who preferably have previous experience in the profession. It is an advantage if you have experience working with patients within our area of responsibility. If you also have prescriber and webSesam training from the Assistive Technology Center, we see this as a benefit. Since we work in the medical record systems Cosmic and Link, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of both systems. Since the role involves communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues, we expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You thrive with taking significant personal responsibility and can plan your work in an efficient manner. We see that you adapt easily to changing circumstances and maintain your calm even in more challenging situations. You take initiative to get activities going and achieve results. You communicate clearly and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional. Since you work with many colleagues on different clinics, it is important that you are receptive and cooperate well with others.

Employment Terms

Permanent position, full-time. Start date by agreement. The position includes on-call duties during major holidays, where you work one of four consecutive days.
