Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Centre, 1177 and emergency clinics in the evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Education Centre. The health centre is easily accessible in the Hageby district with good connections to the rest of Norrköping and currently has approximately 15,000 registered patients. The health centre features a doctor's clinic, specialist nurse clinics, a nurse's clinic, elderly care clinic, child health services, counseling clinic, dietitian services, podiatry, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for some nursing homes and home healthcare in our registration area. We are approximately 65 employees who enjoy working together in an open work climate. Job Description

We are in a phase of development and need more colleagues to meet patient needs and consciously steer towards improved and more efficient working methods. We have specialists, ST-doctors (specialist trainees) at various levels, as well as several junior doctors.

Supervision of students and trainee doctors is an important part of the job, as is engagement in the health centre's development and quality work. We need you as an engaged supervisor who can gradually and pedagogically create education plans for ST-doctors, AT-doctors (interns), and our junior doctors, whom we hope will continue with a focus on specialization in primary care. The work involves great variation between clinical duties as a specialist physician, supervision, and education for colleagues at various educational and competency levels, as well as for other professions. The work is based on a team-based approach where we collaborate and find flexible solutions for the benefit of the patients.

The health centre's doctors also participate in primary and back-up on-call duties for the eastern part of the county during on-call hours.

We offer you significant participation and influence over scheduling, where the extent and distribution of tasks can be shaped based on your individual interests and needs. For us, it is natural to vary work during the week with the possibility of being on-site as well as working digitally and remotely in consultation for the best interests of the operations.

About You

You are a specialist physician in general medicine and have previous experience working in primary care. You hold a Swedish medical license (to be attached to the application) and Swedish language skills corresponding to level Swedish C1. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Arabic speakers are meritorious as a large part of the population has Arabic as their mother tongue. A B-class driver's license is required.

You are secure in your professional role, flexible, and have an easy time collaborating.
