About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will become safer and more secure for everyone. We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation, remand custody, and prisoner transport.
The Procurement Section for Property and IT belongs to the Procurement Unit, which is tasked with developing, directing, and coordinating the agency's procurement. The Procurement Unit also provides legal support and advice regarding procurement and contract issues related to tenders, follows up on contracts, and develops the agency's e-commerce. The Procurement Section for Property and IT is responsible for conducting tenders and following up on contracts within the Property and IT sectors.
Job Description

Procurements are often carried out in a project format where you, as the procurement specialist, may have the role of project manager and collaborate closely with representatives from the agency's operations.
You will also provide qualified support to other operations regarding procurement and contract matters, as well as manage contacts with our suppliers. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute, through your approach, to ensuring that everyone is treated equally. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We are looking for you who have:
- Post-secondary education with a focus on procurement, purchasing, economics, or law, or alternatively other education combined with experience that the employer deems relevant
