Your Role

As a district nurse at our adult clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied clinical workload. The position includes standard district nurse tasks such as teamwork, own clinic sessions, e-services, and telephone advice.

In the role of district nurse here, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the primary healthcare centre. In addition to regular staff, there are several psychologists, counselors, physiotherapists, and dietitians. We put the patient first and would appreciate if you are interested in health preventive work. We offer video visits and home visits as needed. For us, further education is important and we invest in good supervision for our future colleagues.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education as a district nurse.

We are looking for you who are positive and solution-oriented in your work. You have a good ability to cooperate, while also having the experience and drive to work independently. You are a good communicator in Swedish, both orally and in writing. As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively, and to be successful in the work, you need to be flexible in your working methods. You see the challenge and joy in following your patients over time. We also place great importance on personal suitability for the position.

Our Operations

Gottsunda Primary Healthcare Centre is located in fine premises in Gottsunda Centre in the southwestern part of Uppsala. We have approximately 14,000 registered patients and about 60 employees. Our operations are broad and all professional areas within the primary healthcare centre's mandate are represented, including Child Health Centre (BVC), Maternity Health Centre (MVC), and Youth Clinic. The Child Health Centre operation is one of Uppsala's largest with approx. 1,550 registered children. Gottsunda Child Health Centre is part of the Family Centre located here, which we see as positive for both the children, families, and employees. What distinguishes us is a good work climate based on diversity and that we care a little extra for the vulnerable in society. Many of our patients come from other countries and cultures, which we think makes the work here extra varied and interesting.

The operations belong to the Department of Close Care and Health in Region Uppsala. We want you to thrive and develop with us.
