Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Every year, approximately 2,000 individuals are referred to us by the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen). We provide them with a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to train their skills and develop their competence. Our most important goal is that 1,500 people leave us each year for employment outside of Samhall.

The Role of Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager, you lead employees in daily operational activities. In close collaboration with Area Managers, you support our employees in discovering and developing their competencies, with the long-term goal of them leaving Samhall for another employer. You do this best by getting to know your employees and working closely with them in their daily routines.

In your daily work, you ensure that everything runs smoothly to create the best possible conditions for our employees to develop and for our customers to be satisfied. You report to the Operations Director for the locality.

What do we offer you?

Here you will develop as a leader regardless of previous experience, and you will also build specific knowledge in several areas, including leading people with disabilities.

Here you have a national network while locally being part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to the Operations Director. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is undergoing important and exciting development where your perspectives are valued.

What do you bring to the role?

As an Operations Manager, you are operational, present, and see what needs to be done. Having experience from and thriving in a high-paced, human-centric environment is a requirement.

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

• Experience in a supervisory role
• Experience in cleaning/facility services
• High school diploma
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
• Category B driver's license

As more and more of our customers require security clearance, you must pass a security clearance check to be considered for employment.
