Glysisvallen AB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hudiksvall Municipality and is responsible for several of the municipality's most important sports facilities. Our venues are significant meeting places for sports clubs, recreational athletes, elite athletes, children, young people, and visitors.

The operations include, among other things, an ice hall, several natural grass football pitches, a large artificial turf pitch, as well as two athletics facilities, one centrally located in Hudiksvall and one in Iggesund.

We are now looking for a Sports Groundskeeper for a temporary position with immediate start.

Job Responsibilities

As a Sports Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of our sports facilities. A large part of the job involves maintaining the ice in the ice hall as well as managing the natural grass and artificial turf football pitches.

The duties also include, among other things:

• Maintenance of green areas
• Grass mowing and other ground work
• Pruning of trees and bushes
• Planting and care of flowers
• Driving agricultural tractors and various types of motorized equipment
• Support and service during training sessions, matches, and other events
• Simple maintenance and repair work

You will work together with several other sports groundskeepers. A supervisor is responsible for the joint planning of daily and weekly tasks. The job also offers significant freedom and personal responsibility for how tasks are planned and executed.

We are looking for someone who has

• Good knowledge of green area maintenance
• Experience driving agricultural tractors and other motorized equipment
• Ability to work independently and take personal responsibility
• Good teamwork skills and a service-oriented approach
• Driver's license with category B

Experience from similar work at a sports facility, within park and property maintenance, or other related activities is meritorious.

The work is scheduled and includes daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.

Employment Terms

The position is a temporary assignment covering the absence of a regular employee, initially for six months. Start date is immediate.
