Miilux Sweden is now establishing a new service organization for a multi-year service agreement with Boliden Aitik – one of Europe's largest and most modern open-pit mines.

We are now looking for an engaged and technically skilled Operational Maintenance Leader who wants to take a key role in daily operations. The role combines technical inspections, maintenance planning, operational coordination, and close customer contact. You will become an important part of building a long-term collaboration where safety, quality, and availability are in focus.

About the Role

Miilux has signed a multi-year service agreement for truck bodies with Boliden Aitik and is now building a service organization on-site at the mine.

As an Operational Maintenance Leader, you work daytime hours, Monday to Friday, and are responsible for the operational planning of maintenance work. An important part of the role is to conduct regular inspections and condition assessments, primarily of truck bodies but also other equipment for mobile mining machinery.

Based on conducted inspections, you analyze the condition of the equipment together with the rest of the team, identify upcoming maintenance and repair needs, and plan the work together with the customer. You are responsible for maintaining a backlog of planned work and ensuring that the service team has the right prerequisites to carry out the work safely and efficiently.

In this role, you collaborate closely with both Boliden's representatives and the Miilux organization. You are responsible for operational delivery and lead the daily work on-site. The position does not include personnel responsibility from the start, but for the right person, there may be opportunities for continued development in leadership over time.

Your Responsibilities

As an Operational Maintenance Leader, you will among other things:

• Conduct regular inspections and condition assessments of truck bodies and other mining equipment.

• Together with the rest of the team and internal support, analyze inspection results and identify maintenance and repair needs.

• Create and maintain a backlog of planned maintenance and repair work.

• Maintain repair history and documentation.

• Participate in weekly planning together with the customer.

• Prepare upcoming work by ensuring that the right tools, spare parts, materials, and work instructions are available.

• Lead and coordinate the daily work for Miilux's service team on-site.

• Act as Miilux's contact person in the daily dialogue with the customer's representatives.

• Ensure that work is performed according to current safety requirements and Miilux quality standards.

• Contribute to the development of inspection, reporting, and planning processes.

• Identify improvement and business opportunities and report these within Miilux.

We are looking for you who

We believe you have a background as a welder, mechanic, service technician, or similar, and have experience in maintenance, planning, or coordination within industrial, workshop, or mining operations.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of practical experience from heavy industry or mining operations.

• Good technical understanding of welding, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment.

• Experience with inspections, condition assessments, or planning of maintenance work.

• Good administrative skills and computer literacy.

• Valid driver's license (Category B).

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Finnish is an advantage.

• Experience from the mining industry, preventive maintenance, or working with maintenance systems is an advantage.
