Job Description

As a general practitioner with us, your duties will primarily focus on patient care at the health center, but work towards Child Health Services (BVC), special housing, or short-term housing may also be relevant. Your working days will be varied, and in your interactions with patients, you will work both independently and in a team with other professions at the health center. Improvement work for the entire health center is an important part of daily operations, and as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence and contribute to the development of the activity.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers and the health centers' emergency clinics in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. The operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland, and together we work to offer accessible and high-quality primary care throughout the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the primary care needs of the future.

Närvården Herrgärdet is a well-established clinic in the center of Västerås. We are responsible for approximately 12,500 registered patients, and our clinic includes doctor and district nurse clinics, maternal and child health services, physiotherapy and occupational therapy activities, as well as a counselor and a dietitian.

Qualifications

You must be a specialist doctor in general medicine. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and preferably experience with the medical record system Cosmic.

You possess personal maturity, meaning you are stable and confident in your professional role, and you meet patients and colleagues with respect and sensitivity. You should be adaptable to changing circumstances, as anything can happen at a health center. Strong collaboration and communication skills are of great importance. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and value commitment and a positive attitude in work.

Terms of Employment

The positions are permanent full-time employment with a start date as agreed.
