Make a difference with us

As a Property Management Economist, you work closely with your clients in housing cooperatives and community associations. The role may include assignments as a board member in Riksbyggen's housing cooperative boards, which means that part of your working hours will be scheduled in the evenings. This is compensated with otherwise flexible working hours.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Economic management of housing cooperatives
• Ongoing bookkeeping, closing of accounts, annual reports, budgeting, and advisory services
• Administration
• Responsibility for ensuring delivery according to contract and executed in a manner consistent with good accounting practice

The more routine economic tasks are handled by Riksbyggen's Economic Center, with whom you have almost daily contact. You act as support and sounding board to the customer manager in their advisory role towards the customer.

You contribute with your competence and engagement

We are looking for you who have a bachelor's degree in economics from a university or college. It is also important that you have administrative skills, are meticulous, and focused on completing commitments and tasks within deadlines. You need to be very service-oriented and able to communicate clearly via phone and email. You should enjoy working both independently and in a group, as well as being a good team player who contributes to good cohesion.

You are open to change and have the ability to see development and digitalization as a natural part of the work, as the Supplier Group is in a period of significant change with a focus on digitalization and efficiency as part of everyday life.

You also need to have a good ability to review information and understand economic flows. You should be able to act in a business-like and professional manner, create a trusting dialogue, and be able to see and meet the customer's needs both in the short and long term. As a person, you should also be proactive and structured.

A requirement for this position is that you can communicate fluently in Swedish and have a valid driver's license (Category B).

About the position

Location in Västerås or Eskilstuna, with work covering the entire market area. Locations included in MO Mälardalen are Västerås, Eskilstuna, Köping, Hallstahammar, Surahammar, and Sala.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Riksbyggen applies a probationary period. Riksbyggen strives for an equal gender distribution and sees diversity as a strength.
