About Us

Regionsjukhuset Karsudden in Katrineholm is a forensic psychiatric hospital with 155 care beds. The majority of patients are treated under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). The goal is to improve individual patients' mental health to enable them to live in society while simultaneously considering public safety by preventing recidivism. Our care is characterized by a person-centered approach where the patient is involved in planning and implementation. Regionsjukhuset Karsudden is a separate business area within Region Sörmland. One of our strengths is the broad competence gathered under one roof. The HR unit has its office in the administration building next to the hospital, together with other administrative functions. The HR unit provides close and accessible support to the management and leadership of the operations, in direct connection with the core activities.

Katrineholm is located 25 minutes by train from Norrköping and about an hour from Stockholm, making us commuter-friendly. Your Responsibilities

In the role of HR Specialist, you are a qualified support to the operations' managers in areas such as:

• Employment law and agreements
• Work environment
• Salary formation
• Recruitment and competence supply
• Rehabilitation and health promotion
• Competence development
• Employee and leadership issues

You work with a holistic perspective and contribute to developing and maintaining methods, approaches, and guidelines. Together with your colleagues, you support managers in creating a good work environment, engagement, and sustainable conditions for the operations. The role is broad and combines administrative, advisory, operational, and partly strategic tasks within the HR field. You belong to a cohesive HR team and also collaborate with colleagues in Region Sörmland's central HR staff on region-wide issues.

Your communication skills are a success factor, characterized by tact, integrity, and a calm approach that helps build trust. You are structured, have a holistic view, and can understand how different parts fit together and interact with others. Requirements

• Academic degree in HR or equivalent
• Several years of experience in qualified HR work
• Good knowledge of employment law and experience interpreting and applying laws and agreements
