PlantRobotic is an innovative startup based in Norra Hamnen, Malmö. We develop and operate smart solutions for commercial indoor farming with the vision of producing high-quality berries year-round. We are currently in an exciting development phase and offer internships to those who need them, with the hope of finding our future employees.

About the internship & who we are looking for: During your internship with us, you will work hands-on in our facility and gain deep insight into how modern growing systems function in reality. You will have the chance to develop detailed plant knowledge by working directly with the plants and handling everything related to their lifecycle and optimization.

We are looking for someone who enjoys physical and hands-on work, has a strong interest in biology or modern cultivation technology, and wants to learn the industry from the ground up.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Practical work in the growing facility, including planting, maintenance, and harvesting of plants.
• Participate in the daily supervision and optimization of our smart indoor systems.
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to develop our daily routines and processes.

We are looking for someone studying a relevant education (e.g., horticulture/farming, agricultural science, automation, logistics, or technology) that includes an internship, or someone seeking work practice through the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen). This may also suit individuals with long-term unemployment looking to improve their CV, deepen their knowledge, or find an internship that could lead to employment. Since the work takes place entirely on-site at our facility in Norra Hamnen, you must be able to commute here regularly.
