Analyst for Production and Capacity Management (PKS) at Healthcare, Region Sörmland

About Us

Healthcare is the largest business area of Region Sörmland. Our mission is to provide good, safe, and equitable care for the county's inhabitants – today and in the future. The operations are organized into five divisions: Medicine, Surgery, Medical Services, Primary Care, and Psychiatry and Disability. We are present throughout the county, with operations at three emergency hospitals and 18 health centers. Each division is led by a division manager who reports to the Director of Healthcare.

Region Sörmland has implemented a new healthcare information system, Cosmic, and is working to make data and reports available based on the needs of healthcare. Understanding the connection between working methods in different healthcare information systems, including Cosmic, and the data requires collaboration from various parts of the organization and involves many different roles.

Your Responsibilities

As a business-oriented analyst for Production and Capacity Management (PKS), you work at the interface between systems, data, and operations. You have both a strategic and operational role, focusing on making data and analysis available and providing business-oriented support in PKS.

You will:

• Develop the PKS process within healthcare.
• Work with colleagues to ensure knowledge on how healthcare data should be interpreted and used.
• Provide business-oriented support to managers regarding healthcare data and PKS work.
• Create understanding of how working methods and systems affect healthcare data, and which healthcare data creates value.
• Produce guiding materials and communicate results clearly and structured, using visualization tools such as Power BI.

Other tasks and responsibilities may be included in the position.

Your Qualifications

You are analytical and can communicate clearly in both speech and writing. You have basic knowledge of healthcare flows and the systems that generate data. As a person, you are independent, proactive, solution-oriented, and accustomed to collaborating with different operations and roles. You always strive to understand how you, in your supportive role for healthcare, can create value for the patient!

You report to the Production Manager for Healthcare and collaborate closely with managers and operations within healthcare, support staff, and various roles in administrations for healthcare systems and data output.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic education (e.g., Civil Engineer, Master of Science in Economics, Logistician, or similar)
• Experience working within the healthcare sector
• Good knowledge of production and capacity management
• Experience in analysis, follow-up, and development work
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience working with visualization tools, e.g., Power BI
