As a cold store warehouse assistant, you will be responsible for picking goods to be delivered to Arla's customers. What does the role involve?

The main task is to pick goods using a system called Pick-To-Voice. As an employee in the cold store, you help get our refrigerated trucks ready for loading and leaving the warehouse according to the schedule. We also expect you to contribute to a safe working environment among your colleagues by following our safety rules and helping to create a good atmosphere in our cold store. To thrive with us, you need to enjoy working in a structured manner and always completing your tasks. The role requires lifting, and you will be standing and walking a lot in your daily work. You will receive a thorough introduction to ergonomics during the training week to learn how to work in a way that is sustainable for your body.

Working Hours

The working hours are scheduled 21:00–06:00 at Arla's dairy in Kallhäll. There are two variants of the weekend night schedule depending on how often you can and want to work. You do not mix schedules but have a fixed schedule you follow. The different schedules we are recruiting for are:

• Every night against Saturday (Friday 21:00–Saturday 06:00)
• Every other night against Saturday

The position is a fixed-term employment until March 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension. For the right person, there is an opportunity for extension.

Who are you?

To work with us, it is a requirement that you are at least 18 years old, due to the working hours of the position (AFS 2012:3 §19). Since you must be able to read and understand safety regulations and manuals, we would like you to have good knowledge of Swedish. You also need to be available for training during one week before you start working with us. The training weeks you can choose from are weeks 38, 39, and 40. The time during the training week is Monday–Friday 07:30–16:30. The training is paid.

Attributes we see as important in the role are responsibility, attention to detail, tidiness, and the ability to work independently. It is also important that you can thrive with physical work. A forklift license is not a requirement; if you do not have a license, we will train you. You will then need to plan in at least 10 hours to study forklift theory at home before starting the training. You will take the forklift theory test with us on-site, and it is a requirement that you pass the test to get the employment.
