Do you want to work in a key role where precision, analysis, and quality are at the center? Our testing laboratory is now looking for a laboratory technician who wants to contribute to ensuring the quality of our technologically advanced rubber compounds.

About Us

At Trelleborg Mixing Forsheda, we develop, produce, market, and sell technologically advanced rubber compounds. Our testing laboratory plays a central role in controlling and quality-assuring materials before they move further in the process or are delivered to the customer.

About the Role

As a laboratory technician in the operational lab, you play a key role in ensuring the quality of our produced rubber compounds. The work is independent and requires precision, while you collaborate closely with, among others, the warehouse, production, and the development lab.

You work in a practical and varied lab workflow where testing, documentation, and follow-up are central parts of the role. Working hours are arranged in two shifts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform testing such as hardness, density, vulcanization properties, viscosity, electrical properties, and tape testing.
  • Test produced compounds according to established test plans for each material.
  • Prepare samples and manufacture test specimens where required.
  • Record test results correctly in the database.
  • Approve compounds that fall within established limit values.
  • Report compounds that do not meet requirements or clearly deviate from specifications.
  • Administer testing performed by other functions or external laboratories.
  • Ensure that the equipment in the operational lab functions correctly and is in good condition.
  • Report faults, deviations, or the need for actions according to current procedures.
  • Work in line with the company's policies, procedures, as well as environmental and quality systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in quality work
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in quality work is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of English
